From there, she moved to the Auburn Hills, Michigan area to complete her Juris Doctor – Cum Laude from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. Christen was at the top 10% of her class with a 3.39 GPA, the Associate and Senior Associate Editor for Law Review and received the Certificates of Merit in Taxation and Family Law.

Since graduation, Christen has practiced several areas of law in Michigan area including: bankruptcies, Contract Law, Estate Planning, and Real Estate Law.
