Ms. Langstaff was born and raised in the quaint beach town of Cape May, New Jersey. She attended the Southern New Jersey Academy of the Performing Arts, majoring in the dance academy, where she was honored as the sole female recipient of the 2002 Governor’s Award for Performing Arts. Ms. Langstaff graduated with the top academic honors in her academy, and was the recipient of the Dean’s Scholarship to Rider University.
Throughout her childhood, Ms. Langstaff attended many different performing arts competitions and conventions, achieving national awards, titles and scholarships to help further her dance education. She was also invited to participate in intensive programs with companies such as The Rock School of Pennsylvania Ballet, Miami City Ballet, Washington Ballet, Broadway Dance Center and the Metropolitan Dance Theater of New Orleans. She has been honored with the opportunity to perform on the stages of historic theaters such as La Petit Theater in New Orleans, Louisiana and the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, DC.
Ms. Langstaff’s passion for the performing arts caught the attention of casting directors for Royal Caribbean International within weeks of her expected attendance to Rider University. She was presented with the opportunity to travel the world as part of their production team, performing various Broadway review and pop-culture shows as a dancer, gymnast and aerialist.
After six continuous years of performing on the high seas, Ms. Langstaff made the decision to relocate to Las Vegas, Nevada.
Ms. Langstaff became part of the Molyneux Production family in their Las Vegas based production in 2009 and within one year she moved up to the managerial position of Dance Captain. Shortly thereafter she assumed the role of Company Manager, a position in which she would assist with contract negotiations and administrative duties pertaining to the production
While enjoying the administrative side of the entertainment department, Ms. Langstaff attended and graduated from University of Nevada, Las Vegas (“UNLV”) Paralegal Studies Program.
Ms. Langstaff joined the firm of Tony M. May, P.C. in 2013 where her duties include client intake, maintaining a firm repository and litigation docket for calendaring appointments and deadline dates for responsive pleadings, motions and court appearances. She also drafts legal form documents such as Summons, Defaults, Notices of Entry of various Orders and Stipulations, Notices and Subpoenas of Deposition, Affidavits, Disclosures, Joint Case Conference Reports, etc. Ms. Langstaff works closely with the Nevada District and Las Vegas Justice Court administration for issuance of pertinent pleadings. It is also Ms. Langstaff’s responsibility to create case-specific coding systems to identify documents uniformly through the use of bates labels or other means and then converting discovery documents for searchable access. Ms. Langstaff is also a Nevada Licensed Notary Public.
